Ginger Wilcox
Ginger Wilcox is a Founding Partner and Vice President of the Social Media Marketing Institute. She is an accomplished speaker, writer and trainer in online marketing and social media strategy. Ginger has spoken to organizations and associations around the country including BlogWorld and New Media Expo, the National Association of REALTORS® Annual Conference, Inman Real Estate Connect New York, ReTech South, California Association of REALTORS® Tech Tuesday, The Junior League of San Francisco and more.

Ginger is as a Broker Associate at Alain Pinel, a San Francisco Bay Area real estate firm. Prior to starting her real estate practice, Ginger was the Manager of Sales Operations for the Interactive Selling Group at Siebel Systems. Previously she was Manager of Sales Operations for start-up OnLink Technologies which was acquired by CRM market-leader Siebel Systems. Earlier in her career, Ginger was the Pacific Regional Channel Manager for MCI WorldCom’s wireless division.
Ginger graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in political science. In her “spare” time, Ginger is also a devoted volunteer in the community. She most recently served as Provisional Education Chair for the Junior League of San Francisco, overseeing training for almost 200 new members, and as an Executive Vice President on the Board of the Kentfield Schools Foundation. Ginger chaired the award winning Junior League of San Francisco Home Tour, and has worked with a variety of other community organizations including the Marin Family Service Agency, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the San Francisco Symphony, Booker T. Washington Community Service Center and more.
Ginger is the publisher of Blog by the Bay, a highly regarded Bay Area real estate blog and was recognized as one of the top 10 women bloggers in real estate in 2009.
