It's amazing to think of what's now possible that wasn't even three years ago.

Liza Florendo comments on Why Every Conference Should Use Twitter

Hal,

Indeed, I will be looking to see a hashtag when I attend conferences. It's great to have real-time updates on what's going on around me in places I can't physically be at. I hope this usage of the hashtag is utilized at many different conferences as it was at the Miva Merchant Conference.

Hal Lublin comments on Why Every Conference Should Use Twitter

Thanks for the comment Liza. I think you hit on another benefit for attendees, which is the skinny on which sessions are really worth attending. I think it's awesome that you were able to make new friends because of the hashtag as well. Now when you go to conferences you'll be looking for the hashtag as well, right?

Liza Florendo comments on Why Every Conference Should Use Twitter

Yes, this hashtag was great to have during the conference! This was my first conference I attended on my own and it was great to interact with someone via twitter, be able to find them, put a name to the face, and finally allow for a very easy networking opportunity. I plan on keeping in touch with many for the future!

I was also able to make use of the hashtag on deciding what breakout sessions I should stop by and/or providing feedback about ones I was able to attend. Good stuff!

Michael Locke comments on YEO - Why Twitter Follower Counts Mean Nothing

Very insightful...thank you!

tony lazzari comments on SMMI Appoints Jay Thompson to Advisory Board

Dang fine choice if I do say so.

Genuine Chris Johnson comments on Sometimes the ROI is just in the People

Yes.
